1. The service
PuffinERG ("we", "us") is operated by Gunnar Sjúrðarson Knudsen, a sole proprietorship registered in Austria (see Impressum). It reads your Concept2 Logbook, with your permission, and shows goals, group leaderboards and training trends. It is free. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. Concept2 accounts marked as age-restricted cannot be connected. You are responsible for your account, and for connecting only a Concept2 account that is your own.
3. Concept2
PuffinERG is independent and not affiliated with Concept2. It depends on Concept2's Logbook and API: if they change or are unavailable, parts of PuffinERG may stop working. Your use of Concept2's services is governed by Concept2's own terms.
4. Sharing and other people's data
You decide what friends and coaches can see of your data. What others share with you is shared with you only: do not copy, publish or pass it on without their permission.
5. Fair use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, no automated scraping or excessive requests, no abuse of invite and friend links, and no group names or display names that are unlawful or offensive. Group owners may remove members; we may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. No medical advice; liability
PuffinERG is provided "as is" and free of charge. Figures such as pace, watts, heart rate and goal projections are information, not medical or training advice. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss and for slight negligence. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Ending
You can delete your account at any time on your account page; this deletes your data as described in the Privacy policy. We may end the service with reasonable notice.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change matters, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in; if you do not agree, you can delete your account instead.
9. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU/EEA member state, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that state. Subject to that, the competent courts at our registered seat in Austria have jurisdiction.
